Interesting article. It explains my symptoms totally. Going to discuss with my new Dr, which is a female. Maybe she will understand
I too, have very painful finger pain when urinating, but it only happens with a UTI. My UTI's come on fast and furiously. The urethral pain and spasm start at the same time the fingers become painful, just at the end of a small amount of urination. From a twinge to full-blown onset of pain, bleeding and fever can be as short as 2 hours. I figured I'm the only one in the world who might be experiencing this, so I thought I'd ask Google. I'm glad I did!
Yes, only when I have a uti. It is now how I know I have one. I used to know from the more common symptoms of spasm or burning at the urethra area with small amount of urine and increased urgency. Now have arm and finger pain with small amount if urine and urgent frequency. Thank you for responding!
