Hello, I had my appt. with my GI today. I just wanted to post a quick update. He is ordering a gastric emptying scan, ultrasound of the upper right quadrant, and, well, a colonoscopy, since I'm due. He is also putting me on an anti-acid Rx for a week to see what that does. He is ruling out possible gallstones or an issue in the stomach. If all comes back normal, next step will be CT, and we will move on from there. He didn't seem particularly interested in the glucose, he said I was low enough and he wasn't concerned about that. I'm just glad I had a doctor take my concerns seriously enough that I am getting tests, no matter how uncomfortable they are. I will continue to update as new info comes up. Thank you to those who responded with information, and most especially for those hugs - I have kept a lot of this to myself and to see those hugs knowing someone cared meant more than I can say.
