Do you mind my asking where you will be treated?
No one can know what its like who hasn't been through it. Stay as relaxed as you can and nurture yourself as much as you can.
Its going to be alright.

I live in Wisconsin I was treated at the Aurora Cancer Care here, I had my treatment already radiation and chemo to get rid of the noise in my chest , I've had a PET scan to see if their treatment with radiation and chemo has worked on the lymph nodes. I see my oncologist tomorrow for the results and that's what's scary to me. Feels like a bad dream sometimes. I came home from work with a backache went to ER next thing I know I have lung cancer I can't say it was unexpected because I smoked you just never think. Anyway thanks for your response I will try my best to make you positive thoughts about my outcome tomorrow and thank you again. Merilee

Had appointment with oncologist tiday to go over pet scan results. All looks good. The radiation/ chemo did whar it was supposed to..The pet scan showed no activity no spread either. The chest lymoh nodes are shieing no cancer..Dr said CT in three months...So relieved..i just cried....thanks you fir any well wishes etc..i will continue on thus site and reading sll posts...Meriler
