Anyone taking Ozempic post Bariatric Surgery?

I had that procedure and eventually gained weight. On Ozempic 1mg- this where you start losing lots of weight- and am sorry these drugs weren’t available before I had my surgery. Have lost 50lbs since late Aug 2023. Because I don’t have diabetes they took me off Ozempic and on Wegovy where I gained weight. I’m back n Izemic and losing again. 10lbs to go. I’m paying a lot for it since my insurance won’t pay for it. I don’t care!!!

I didn’t regain my weight that I had lost from Bypass Surgery, however I have Type 2 Diabetes. I started Ozempic before everyone jumped on the weight loss band. I will be taking it for the rest of my life for my Diabetes. I understand that if you take Wegovy, it’s also a lifetime commitment.
