Tymlos causing belly fat?

@loriesco you can just dose Tymlos the way you want to, honestly. I did tell my doctor what I had done and now he uses the ramp up method with some of his patients. I never did the full 8 clicks but could tolerate 7- a mystery why just one click of the pen made such a difference. Listen to your body. Tymlos still has good effect at 6 clicks, or even 4, I was told.

Neurology can prescribe meds (I cannot take gabapentin but take baclofen if needed; pain mes and muscle relaxants can also be prescribe). The neuro can also do lidocaine injections , which help some (but not me!).

I can't handle nerve medicines. I've been on all of them. They make me feel like I have needles tingling in my head. Just low dose opioid with tylenol for 23 years for me. I always try other things to make the docs happy, but Percocet is the only opioid, and the only pain killer which I'll take. (ibuprofen put me in the hospital!) All the other NSAIDS only topical.
I noticed when I stopped after the first month and THEN they finally said do 2, 4, 6, to 8 clicks every 7 days - that when I started at TWO I had the SAME extreme effects as when I stated with the 8! So yes, I agree! It is CRAZY that such a little bit of medication has such a powerful effect! The only thing I can think of is that it is provoking a needed response. So I hesitate -- now that I am up to 8 to reduce it. But I was surprised the Trigemenial nerve disaorder returned, so I might. Did you have that BEFORE starting the Tymlos?
Also - a tip - don't know if it will work again or for you - the nerve root that runs along the top row of molars was in so much pain Saturday that I just bit down with firm pressure REALLY HARD. I'd release. I'd do it again and again until it turned into an itching sensation (which was better than the pain!).... and you know what? it WENT AWAY entirely the next day! It has not returned to severity of Friday's flare when I moved to 8 clicks. For a couple days it moved to the back of my jaw where my teeth open and close. It felt like a cankor sore would emerge (had my whole life) but nothing emerged. That has all subsided after 4 days. I'm just wondering if I am having an inflammatory reaction from the medicine and those nerve roots are in a vulnerable "weak" spot? Like my bones are really WANTING the medication there and having a reaction from it? I think it says something that you have this and I do too. I do not believe that is a coincidence!
