After 8+ weeks I'm finally clear of blood in my semen so I'm thrilled. I drank a lot of water and "cleaned the pipes" when I could to help the process along. I agree urologists really need to be more upfront about what to expect in terms of how much blood you can expect. I did not ask if I could/should clean the "clean the pipes" but the searching I did seem to indicate that you could help the process along. One thing you want to avoid is to not let the blood stay in there. If you do and you get clots you have to go back to the Urologist and they do some testicle vibration to clean the clots out of there.
