I've been in additional contact with my Endo, she hasn't yet admitted that the hunger is from Evenity, but she did acknowledge that the tingling and pain I've been having in my ankles and wrist is a known side effect. I consider her acknowledgement progress. She recommended I get some blood tests just eliminate other possible causes. I had my blood calcium and B vitamins tested. Turns out my B12 is off the charts. The reference range is 193-986. Mine is 1933. That can also cause the tingling and pain. I've been supplementing with B12 for several years. Needless, to say, after getting that score, I stopped taking it immediately.

Moral of the story--in the case of the tingling and pain, I may have been wrong. Having said that, I still think the hunger is from Evenity.

Tomorrow, I get my 6th set of Evenity injections, so I hope the problem has been the B12, and not Evenity. Fingers crossed!

@hopefullibrarian I thought our bodies flushed out B12 that was beyond what was needed. I am posting info from the Mayo site below, which you have no doubt seen. Have you been taking high doses daily? It seems high doses can raise levels- I didn't know that! I did have tingling/burning from Evenity. I guess if you stop taking B12 you will find out whether it is the vitamin or Evenity!

When taken at appropriate doses, vitamin B-12 supplements are generally considered safe. While the recommended daily amount of vitamin B-12 for adults is 2.4 micrograms, higher doses have been found to be safe. Your body absorbs only as much as it needs, and any excess passes through your urine.

High doses of vitamin B-12, such as those used to treat a deficiency, might cause:

Headache
Nausea and vomiting
Diarrhea
Fatigue or weakness
Tingling sensation in hands and feet
