I’ve been on it for years, started at 50mg 3x day but after my 4th spine surgery Dr. increased to 100mg 3x day and 200 mg at bedtime. Side effects are dizziness and sleepiness! Everyone is different so until you know how you’ll be effected stay close to home!
I can’t take Lyrica severe swelling and my kidneys don’t work for two days afterwards. I ended up with fluid around my heart. Swelling hands, legs, face, lips, tongue and kidneys.
I have been on the maximum dose of 600 mg of Lyrica a day for the last 10 years. I started with 75 mg a day and over a period of 2 years, it was slowly increased to the maximum level due to the pain level
I was experiencing. Lyrica has been an excellent medication for me, it stops the pain. Side effects, I find my balance is off slightly, but no others that I know of. Without Lyrica I would be in pain 24 hours a day. Everyone is different so you need to experience it to know how it works for you. Please keep updating us on your progress with Lyrica because it helps other people decide what they can try.
I have been on Lyrica for two months and I immediately gained five pounds which turned into seven pounds. Helped me to stay asleep but only a slight help with pain. I am stopping it and trying something else.
Lyrica does work for pain but it definitely causes weight gain. I was up to 400mg daily but then I discovered LDN - Low Dose Naltrexone. It got rid of all my pain & now I’m on only 100mg of Lyrica.

I’ve been on Lyrica 75mg 3x day for about four months. Makes m off balance and I get brain fog. Tried to go off but too-much pain. Gabapentin same. Left sacro- iliac peripheral neuropathy from a herniated disc.

Solobeee1: How much LDN are you taking for your pain? And how long did it take to work? I have been on 4.5 mg a day for two weeks, and so far I'm not noticing much in the way of relief.
I’ve started but only in 75mg. Right now.
Please let me know if you have any side effects as I was going to start with 75 but haven’t yet
