I've had CSS and related spinal problems leading to a 4-level ACDF a little over a year ago. I haven't mowed grass in years but don't recall any cervical symptoms associated with that effort.

I'd suggest you seek a medical opinion before making a final decision on your mowing work. No two people's spinal issues are alike so answers to your basic question - may not be the most useful for you. Your PT person may have an opinion - but a medical professional (I like a physiatrist) opinion is best.
