Need your prayers!
My husband's lung cancer has taken a turn for the worse. I would deeply appreciate any and all prayers for him! He's using his nebulizer every 2 hours and is on Prednisone and Morphine. We get up two to three times a night since he is gasping for breath and needs to use his nebulizer. He gets breathless just walking down the hall. He was in the ER two weeks ago. We don't have hospice yet but may have to eventually. I don't know what they could do. I'm doing everything. However, a doctor would come to our home since Ed isn't well enough to go to the doctor's office.
I know that God is in control and always has been. Everything is in God's time. We pray often. We both know that we'll be in Heaven together in the future.
Thank you so much for your prayers!

My thoughts are with you. Do you have option for hospice at home? My mom did for 5 weeks and about to go to resident hospice care when passed. We had an excellent hospice at home company, They was very helpful with equipment, support, home medication management, even music therapy. She was reluctant at first, but once got in place, she enjoyed visits and esspecally music therapy. Her Medicare ins policy covered everything. I do not know what kind of policy she had, did not pay attention to that at time.
Do you have help at home to take care of your husband?
I will pray!
May God heal your husband and strengthen you through this extremely difficult time.
Thank you so much!

Saying prayers for you and your husband. May God be close and give you peace and comfort. I hope you can find some outside help too. Can you ask his doctor about palliative or hospice care?
Lord hear our prayers for Ed, we ask for healing and comfort for Ed and his family. We ask in the blessed name of Jesus, hear our prayers. Amen.
@pml Healing prayers for your husband, you, and your family. Bless those in need of healing, with complete healing, in body, mind, and spirit.
Helen;
Thank you! That is so nice of you.

Laurie:
I'm the only one taking care of my husband at the moment and it works out fine. My mom was in a similar situation as my husband is and I took care of her for 10 years. So, I have some understanding of what is needed and experience with 24 hour oxygen. However, if we need hospice in the future we will consider it. Both the doctor's office and the Fire Dept. have given us good resources whom I have talked with.
That's so nice that you had a good hospice care for your mom. I'm sorry for your loss. I still miss my mom and she died in 1991 but I know I'll be in Heaven with her at one point and so will you with your mom!
