New to the group. I have had prostate cancer for ten years that metastasized to limp nodes and bone
For at least 3 years I have not had to use any meds. About a month during a scan they noticed my PSA started to raise a legion was found in the liver. A biopsy was done. My doctor ordered a PSA scan in the meantime he is his hitting it hard with Xtandi. I never thought the cancer would could back and the liver. I just turned 75 not something I ever thought I would fight again. Anyone gone through this or know of someone

I can't comment as I have not gone through what you are experiencing...yet..!

A starting point for discussions with your medical team could be the NCCN guidelines...The NCCN Guidelines for Prostate Cancer provide a framework on which to base decisions regarding the workup of patients with prostate cancer, risk stratification and management of localized disease, post-treatment monitoring, and treatment of recurrence and advanced disease. The Guidelines sections included in this article focus on the management of metastatic castration-sensitive disease, nonmetastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC), and metastatic CRPC (mCRPC).
