Pain in hands, arms and shoulders with pNET stage 4

Posted by justme54 @justme54, Jun 21 11:23am

Has anyone else with PNET stage 4 experienced extreme pain in hands, arms and shoulders? This started up about a month ago and trying to find something that may help with the pain. I can only get about 2 hour stretches for sleep.

was there any medication that helped it?

He takes Gabapentin if it gets bad enough, he tries to deal with it as this medication makes him sleepy

My pain was caused by a statin I was taking for glucose control. The doctors also took me off my metformin as it was not compatible with the lanreotide injections.

You may want to check your other meds for interactions.

They believe my pain is caused by inflammation because my CRP/C reactive Protein is over 2. something. So far it is still a work in progress but better taking prednisone and Percocet. Will let you know if it changes again.

My last CRP was .4 and pain is very minimal!

My last CRP done this week was at .4 and the pain is very minimal now. Much better than having CRP at 2.6.
