Tinnitus- any suggestions?

We are told there is no treatment or cure for tinnitus. However, good things are happening. Tinnitus is the most common disabling condition reported by service men and women returning from combat zones. News of this new treatment just became available. It will be interesting to see how effective it is.

I never had Tinnitus until I had a brain MRI. Was not given appropriate noise protection and it started about 10 minutes after I left the center. LOUD hissing, vertigo and a constant headache. That was 16 months ago and I am glad I will be 80 this year…Hopefully I will not have to live with this much longer…
