I have Gastritis, Esophagitis, GERD, diverticulosis, small benign polyps on gut lining , small hiatal hernia, IBS-D , 1000 deep wet gross belches day & night . Non stop churning gut .
I feel for you . I’m growing so so weary of living this life everyday when everyone I know is out Living a good life !
No Joy 🥹. Just suffering.
I’m on anti anxiety med low dose for years .
Tried every rx , supplement, elimination diets , testings .
I pray you find the right Dr.
Have they talked about taking gallbladder out ?
I’m going to be 63 in Sept . Feel like 95 most days but look 55 . Ugh
I took various PPIs daily for over a decade but quit almost two years ago. I developed microscopic colitis from these drugs. I needed Famotidine for a year to acclimate to life without PPIs. Now I control Gerd by avoiding food and drinks that are offenders. I also had to wean off benadryl-based sleep aids and switch to melatonin. Which took a while but now is actually better.
For me, a lot of these drugs are what I call lifestyle meds .. eat what you want if you take this pill. But there’s a price.
I learned to do deep belly breathing during physical therapy for
Pelvic floor and bladder and bowel strength. It does seem counter intuitive. I kept at it and I breath like that all of the time. It is very natural to me now. Babies breathe like that until they learn different. I just got a hernia. Is there a connection to IBS orDIBO ?
I feel so bad for you both, sablegirl and rozy288. I pray that you can get some help.
I’m 72, have had diarrhea issues for years though usually no pain. No one understands when you are having a bad day and can’t go anywhere, they think all you need to do is wear a diaper! Ha I wish.
Your experiences make me thankful for what I have, I can’t imagine having pain every day along with it. I had a bad day yesterday with gut pain, and it’s certainly debilitating.
I’m in Florida also, it’s too hot to even take a walk or use an outside pool. So lack of exercise doesn’t help.
Just want to take a moment to encourage you… God our Father hears our prayers. He is with us and will never leave or forsake us… Jesus Christ, The Son of God took our sickness and disease on the cross. Here are a few promises from Gods Living Word….
Matthew 8:17, Isaiah 53:4, 1 Peter 2:24,Psalms 103:1-5
May His peace rest upon us all.

Thank you for posting. I have the perfect storm too, hernia the whole ball of wax, and I am on Pepcid as well. The only thing I have been able to think to do further than what you have mentioned is elimination diets to see if food allergies are playing any part. What got me thinking along this line is I am also taking psyllium soluble fiber, but noticed the brand that I was taking is manufactured by a company that also markets bee pollen. So I got to wondering if there were traces of bee pollen in the psyllium. I am very allergic to bees. I feel at a loss, but am reassured reading your post, and look forward learning more on this topic.
