What do you mean by 'skin' prep? I use Coloplast all the time and I do use a Skin Tac before I put the flange on. By wafer do you mean flange? I use a heating pad over the flange and pouch after they are both on. I don't understand.

This was new information I received from coloplast and I am trying it. I am not in anyway a pro at this. If you want professional info I would call and talk to one of the nurses at coloplast

I just talked with Coloplast. (July 11, 2024 at 5:25 CSDST) According to Coloplast he is apparently calling "Skin Barrier Spray" Skin Prep. The Coloplast rep told me that you could use the barrier spray or not use the spray. Whichever works better for you. I don't know what "Skin Tac" is either. Are you talking about "Brava Skin Barrier Spray" #120205? It is very important to use the right terminology since some of us might get the wrong message etc. The "Wafer" is apparently the "Skin Barrier Moldable Ring #120427" or another ring.
