My neurosurgeon doesn’t handle the med. My primary doctor used to, but she’s left the practice and I don’t have anyone definite right now. It’s a big mess. She had been my dr for about 20 years. The office she was with is becoming an urgent care facility. She is not practicing anywhere else. When I heard my DEXA had gone from -3.2 in October to -4.1 in June I was disappointed. Having a weight gain made it worse. I worked hard to lose 70 lbs and to have 13 pop back on was also disappointing.

It’s unfortunate you don’t have anyone to look after you right now. Have you considered a phone consultation with Dr. McCormick to get this thoughts? If you lost the 70 lbs over the past year, that may have contributed to your bone loss? I wish you the best of the luck.
