How long to stay for gastro evaluation at Mayo Clinic?

Welcome to Mayo Clinic, you're asking questions many have asked and each person is different. Hopefully others who have had GI evaluation appointments can provide their experience.

How long you need to stay will depend if provider wants to do more testing. For some GI tests, there is preparation that may require you to stay extra days.

Have you created a portal sign-on. If more tests are scheduled, you will see on portal.

Would you be willing to share some additional information on your situation, might help others give you advice on appointment.

Have you had GI testing at other locations that you have shared with Mayo?

Thanks for your response. I have had many many gi tests but think Mayo will want to redo a few of them since it’s been a while since my last rounds of testing. I am visiting the gastro department in Rochester. I have not seen any other tests or anything listed on my portal other than my appointment and that I might need to do labs afterwards.
