Try to go to new doctors until you find one that will help you taper off the Klonopin. It is hard and you will have to expect that but the rewards are so great. Could take half a year or so to taper off but if you power through you’ll be free. I did it and I feel so much better. Try using exercise and meditation to get through the tough periods but know they WILL pass. It is really just a question of your determination in the end and hopefully a good doctor to help you.❤️

They cut you off cold turkey? That does sound dangerous. How many milligrams were you on? I hope you're doing better now. I currently take .5mg in the morning and .5mg at night for anxiety and to help me sleep. I was on Clonazepam for around 10 years, and I wanted myself off it by slowly taking less and less, but recently I was diagnosed with FTD and moved into an assisted living facility. My anxiety was extreme, so they put me back on it. It seems to really help me more than the other medication I've tried. It also helps with the muscle spasms I get from dementia and spinal stenosis. I understand getting people off drugs if they are abusing them or if something works better, but Clonazepam seems to help me, so I hope the doctors don't ever just stop it.
