I will begin with an apology because I just joined the website. Please forgive me if I am not posting correctly.

I am in the same boat in terms of a potential long wait for surgery.

My first urology visit was with a NP because the urologist was booked into August and his surgery schedule is booked into December! I may lose my mind by that time! My oncologist plans to coordinate with him but I am afraid of the implications of a prolonged wait.

I am at the beginning of my journey. Maybe Stage 1B, which is great but there was something weird in my lungs on abdominal CT. Chest CT in days.

I see the NP and will hopefully meet the urologist in a few days (same day as the chest CT). I just don't know what is reasonable in terms of a surgery wait.

I would appreciate anyone's encouragement.
