I had never put a name to my leg activity during sleep, until I recently read an article about it, and realized there was a label for that. The prescribing psychiatrist told me to keep taking it for the safety of my wife. That's one med she doesn't complain about me taking. I guess that as long as Klonopin does the job, I won't worry about taking yet another med specifically for restless leg. I did go through a period of a few weeks when my arms and legs would move involuntarily, and regardless how hard I'd focus, I couldn't stop the jerks and trembling. A strange sensation.

I also have sleep apnea, and use a CPAP, which has improved my life dramatically. It's now possible to do a preliminary sleep study at home. I always recommend a sleep study to people who are having sleep related issues. A CPAP is a non chemical treatment approach, and it's always nice to find a treatment that doesn't involve taking yet another med.

Hi @jimhd, have you seen out the sleep apnea thread in the Just Want to Talk group? It's a great active community and CPAP has come up several times - I'd highly recommend checking it out! https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/sleep-apnea-29d741/
