@ebtexas55

After surgery and just before radiation i had Lymphedema pre therapy.
I met with a therapist for an hour once or twice a week for 6 weeks. She would do a massage on several places and show me what to do at home.
I asked her about the compression bra and i bought one.
Because i had a double mastectomy, she cut me this long foam pad and had me insert it into a flat running bra with no cups. It was so much more comfortable than the compression bra and did the compression beautifully. I also wore the compression sleeve.
I also did full body red light therapy every day for about 3-6 months at a sun tanning place.. joined a membership.
I never got lymphedema, and the redlight therapy was awesome!
It helps with inflammation. So if you do have or develop pain, check it out.
These days you can buy in home panels.
Hope this helps.
Blessings.

Dear @ebtexas55:

Thank you very much for your blessing and sharing valuable experiences with insights!

I am so grateful that we have so many comrades caring for one another on this journey; for I now realize the blessing in disguise of my BC:)

God bless you all!
