PN: Current research?

Posted by Ray Kemble @ray666, Jun 26, 2023

Hi!

Is anyone following recent research on PN? I've checked, and although I've found lists of clinical trials, most are over or have closed due to a lack of funding. Yesterday's NYT had an interesting article about the high hopes placed on Crispr research. A dozen maladies were mentioned as possible beneficiaries in the coming years (and decades), but not PN. Have any of you read any recent promising research stories?

Was it targeted steam cell therapy? I know about such therapy in Colambia Bogota. Other doctors in Mexico can do only general therapy not targeted. I was looking for such thing but it is too expensive in Colombia.

They did stem cell injections. It would not heal on its own. The doctor used stem cells that were mad from a lab due to my autoimmune disease and the neuropathy. The podiatrist did the surgery. I was in the hospital and off the foot for 10 weeks to let it heal.
