I have been hearing for something called "Functional Medicine" that is related to more than just drugs for your health issues. Does anyone have any information or does Mayo Clinic have any department that addresses this?
Here's a site you can check out to get a feel for what Functional Medicine is about. Check out what each provider offers to get a grasp of modalities used.

I turned to kinesiology after an endoscopy showed nothing wrong- My kinesiologist found I was intolerant to gluten. It was a game changer but difficult as there was little said about gluten intolerance back then. We took gluten out of my diet and slowly everything straighten out.
Kinesiology will also tell you what supplements you use that aren't good for you. Or where you may need supplementation. *You do need to watch out for this. Some kinesiologists, I think, over serve supplements. You should be able to move the needle through food choices.
I had a nutritionist who also suggested I do an elimination diet to find out what foods are triggers. What you eat is everything.
I did some homeopathy work which helped as well.
I also do regular acupuncture. .
*All of my alternative doctors suggested I start with regular doctors and have all physical testing done. i.e. bloodwork and endoscopy/colonoscopy. All my tests came back normal. It was suggested I see a therapist. I went to the kinesiologist instead.
