I'm on 300 mg Gabapentin 3 times a day.
Now this Friday I was having muscle spam in my shoulders and it felt like my shoulders were jerking my head back. I went to Urgent Care the doctor there put me on Zanaflex, take 1 every 8 hours they are 4 mg. The doctor showed me in the lower part of my head in the back side was what was happening. I was scared and I had my neck brace on and he said we don't use those any more.

And what did he show you in the back of your head what was happening?

And yes I have heard neck braces are not good because they weaken the muscles more.
Which is not what you want worth this.
