I stayed 2 nights due to pain and I was so nauseous when they first got me out of the bed...took me 24 hours with whatever anesthesia they gave me.

My brother has had the same problem after surgery, very nauseous and disoriented for hours after waking up. It's not uncommon. I don't know of there is anything that can be done, other than to alert the anesthesiologist and possible get some anti-nausea medicine after.

Staying two nights due to pain for a TKR is unusual. We all react differently.
