← Return to Iron Depletion in Blood related to COVID?

Recap and update.
I first posted after getting the 2022 booster jab (in the UK) and then discovering that my Iron levels were very, very low. This could not be explained and the urgently requested internal examinations were worrying/alarming.

I was put on 200 mg Ferrous Sulphate twice daily. This was then changed to 200mg once daily, which was called a "maintenance dose". Finally, 2 years later, all my numbers are now normal . My doctor wants me to stop taking the Ferrous Sulphate, and then to have another blood test in one month, to check my levels again.

This post is for 2 reasons. It is to let other forum members know that Ferrous Sulphate does work, given time. And it is to share my concern that I am now being offered the 2024 version of the Covid booster vaccine.
I did attempt (a couple of times) to engage doctors in a discussion about this mayoclinic.org thread, and the link between covid boosters and the onset of Iron Deficient Anemia - including reports from many Blood Donors. No discussion was possible....no connection was known at that time.

I find this depressing and frustrating. If you were posting here in 2021/2022, please give an update, if possible, on your own story.

For everybody that is anemic, I found that having blood draws every month replenished my RBC's, blood now normal.
