@demeter. I empathize with you. I know how pain can dominate our lives and leave us suffering daily. I know how chronic pain changes our personalities and lifestyles. It sucks!

In 2013 I went through treatment for anal cancer. I am 10 years NED and I thank the doctors for that. But I don't thank them for the lumbar multilevel degenerative disc disease that the chemo and radiation treatments caused. And more recently, in the past two years, I have suffered with neuropathy. And that's made it difficult for me to walk because of the pain in my hip joints and feet.

The only oral pain med I take is Tylenol 8 hour arthritis. But I do take a myriad of daily supplements to help me manage pain and to promote health and wellness. And I do take 2600 mg of turmeric, curcumin & ginger to help with inflammation. And I take Boswellia and Osteo-bi flex. But in all honesty, I sincerely believe the one supplement that is helping me with pain more than anything else is 600 mg R-Alpha Lipoic Acid stabilized (R-ALA). I've only been on it 23 days and I can now stand on my feet and walk through the stores with less pain. But I am also going through physical therapy, and that is beginning to help. I'm not able to walk that one-mile yet but I'm heading in that direction. R-ALA is going to make this happen for me.

I hope you try R-ALA and I hope you feel better soon. Hugs for happiness. CB

Thank you so much for the information. I will definitely get the Tylenol for arthritis and check out the RALA lipoic acid. I do believe that strengthening muscles helps I'm going to make an appointment with a naturopath who will analyze medication's in physical problems and prescribe supplements which a friend of mine takes 10 in the morning and 10 in the afternoon she is 93 and in perfect health after a round of cardiac problems
I also went for a digital scan of feet to get orthotics made for new sneakers so I can stand for three hours instead of two hours. it's a journey for sure but one worth pursuing. Thanks for all your information.
