Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) gave me ice pick headaches and I felt like bugs were crawling on my face. When I quit taking it, those symptoms stopped.

It did help with my joint point, but, the side effects were horrible.

I have the same things going on. I explained that to my Neurologist and he said it was from my Trigeminal Neuropathy, so maybe I will try stopping it. I was taking 200mg twice daily and went down to once a day and come to think of it I don’t think I feel the face crawling anymore. I will pay more attention now knowing this.

What do you take for meds then?
