My infusion nurse suggested L Glutamine capsules (500 mg) and these have worked fantastically. I still get them long after chemo, but when I feel them coming I take the L Glutamine and it prevents them. They are also available in powder form to mix with water. Good luck. Totally worked for me.

Hi @mkathryn Welcome to Connect! It sounds like you have personal experience with the dreaded mouth sores than can come about from chemo. Thank you for sharing the information about L Glutmine capsules. Wish I’d known about that a few years ago.
