Yes indeed I am expereincing belly fat - I have been slender and firm all my life ( 69yrs) but the tymlos has defiently added a belly flab roll; I laugh becasue I almost cant see my navel! I have servere osteo so it is a small price to pay - meanwhile health is dependent on some fat so in all honestly I probablly needed some. In general very thin people ( below127) after menopause, tend to have weaker bone. Many reasons.... I feel in some part it may have to do with estrogen - after menopause some of this important hormone is made in the adipose tissue. Not enough adipose tissue , not enough support for the Estrogen loss , which is a regualtor of bone health.
Meanwhile, I would feel better if the doctors admitted the belly flab issue....rather than dismiss our expereinces.
Sending healing and hope

It seems to be a common subjective finding.Corroboration by the med/pharm community would be helpful.I suspect many of us experiencing osteoporosis have a history of trying to maintain a slim figure(not all) which makes it all the more frustrating.I am noticing after a few months I seem to have a more generous injection region.I guess I prefer that to fractured bones.I practice reformer pilates 3 days a week in addition to an active schedule. My core strength & balance are solid but I am seeing that roll.
