I’m sorry to hear that you have lost your taste/smell. I too, after Covid in December of 2022, lost my taste and smell. It is June 7th 2024 and I still don’t have it back. I had 3 Stellate Ganglion Block injections and am going in for a 4th on June 13th 2024. They only slightly helped with taste and smell, where I do get a salty, sweet or sour taste on my tongue, but no flavors of any kind. I also can smell coffee grounds on most mornings, but not always. The things that I do smell on occasion are fleeting at best. It’s pretty awful, but I’ve come to realize that I’m probably lucky to have just this wrong with me. I can walk, talk, eat, socialize, I just can’t taste or smell. I do pray for myself and others suffering this way. I’ve begun looking at food as fuel and not something to enjoy. Wishing you all the best and I will post after my next Stellate Ganglion Block Injection.

Senses are very important, so to me they are as important as other functions in our body. It’s also something that is constant….that makes things more intense, I think. I guess we’ll all just hang in there…..I’ve been praying for a miracle for a while. I believe in them.

That’s really tough. I will take your view and both hope for return but be grateful for what good health I do have. Good luck with treatments!
