Fatigue after radiation

@sue417 I had radiation therapy for endometrial cancer (pelvic radiation). Twenty five sessions. During the radiation I walked every day and kept up with my exercise sessions for about one hour two times per week. I was fatigued off and on. The fatigue really set in after I finished the radiation therapy but it let up within a few weeks later. I'm thinking that the radiation affected the fibromyalgia and so kind of makes sense to me that you are even more fatigued. When you met with your radiation oncologist (I met with them weekly during my radiation therapy) did they have anything to say about how radiation therapy would affected fibromyalgia?

Hi
No.
He did not talk about any side effects to do with my radiation. the technician's when I was done treatment told me that I would probably get some fatigue the week after I stopped but that was the only thing that was said to me. I have also been having issues with my Blood Pressure. Since my radiation. My diastolic has been dropping in the fiftys. Trying to get an appointment with my cardiologist. I spoke yesterday with my radiation nurse in London and told her what was happening. So she was going to send a note to my oncology, radiologist. I do take medication for blood pressure and have for 5 yrs. I have never had low blood pressure which this is dramatically low to the point I feel like I may pass out. It drops After I eat breakfast an hour after By the afternoon it Comes back up.
