Fortunately for me, Minnesota legalized "Medical" Cannabis. Yesterday I was finally able to pick up my first supply, and I am amazed at the amount of pain relief I am feeling. It took just minutes for the effect to be noticed and in about 20 minutes I was pretty much pain free. My legs/feet have virtually no pain. It is replaced by only the numbness that has always been in the background. I have noted no side effects at all. Over the next days I will try weaning myself off of the "conventional" pain meds I take and see what's left. I know I still have peripheral Neuropathy, and will always have it, but being only 70 years old, and after suffering for 10 years I had to try everything.

You have no idea how much this has meant to me to finally be mostly pain free.

Has anyone else tried or contemplated using Medical Cannabis?

I am from Minnesota, and have Trigeminal nerve pain as well as many back issues relating to both nerve and muscle. Nothing seems to work, and I had considered trying medical marijuana, but a bit apprehensive that I would feel "out of it". I would also like to take as little drugs as possible, and currently take gabapentin, baclofen, and at times, Vicodin.
Would you mind sharing what medical facility you go to? My clinic is not into using this, but it seems safer to me than all the drugs I take that don't work!
