is there a connect group re how to get an appt in neurology in jacksonville? i called and spent about 40 min on the phone and got nowhere. A neurosurgeon in south FL recommended i have radioneurisurgery without even examining me or discussing my complex risk factors. She obviously is not going to refer me to Mayo and the scheduler made clear “no referral”/no appointment.

I am going to be at mayo Jacksonville june 20–21 and would very much appreciate a neuro consult. i have neuro-opthamologist notes and images showing a mass in my brain. Can someone help me with logistics?

I would also recommend that if your current specialist will not give you a referral that you ask your PCP for a referral.
