Two weeks ago a circular indentation appeared on my hip muscle. It feels like a hole in the muscle. I’m 64, female, excellent health and very athletic. What could this be?

Hello, I wouldn't speculate. Go to your doctor and get an xray. I have no idea...

It is more likely to be involved with the fat layer under
the skin. Have you had any injury or injection there.?
Any weight loss or metabolism changes.? Check with
your physician and consider a dermatologist if he doesn’t feel it is the muscle.
