Your story sounds similar to mine. Had covid first round in early 2020 for 3 weeks, then hit with Delta hard in 2021. It took three months for me to recover or so I thought. Like you, symptoms started popping up, gastrointestinal issues the most major one, perforated ear drum that won't close or heal, vocal chords messing up and losing my voice all the time, etc. I also went to doctor over 40 times in a two year span between 2021-2023, as well as every specialist you can think of, to only be told over and over again that there was nothing wrong with me. It wasn't until a nurse at a walk-in clinic told me that I have symptoms of long covid and most likely what I was dealing with for me to even have any idea about long covid existing, let alone what im struggling with. Finally, an answer, but one my GP probably wouldn't agree with. So I'm stuck not being able to work, trying to navigate this terrain, and wondering if it will ever end. I definitely have zero faith in the medical industry, never did trust it to begin with, but now it's forcing me to try more holistic, natural solutions, and I think that's what we all need to get back to anyhow.
Anyway, I usually don't even comment on stuff like this, but your story is so similar to mine in many ways, and it just was nice to know someone else gets it and I hate knowing that you do all at the same time. Much love and healing to you.
