I'm sorry. What do you use for your diabetes? My daughter is taking a medicine that causes "stomach paralysis" or slow digestion. It's a side effect and a condition all in its own. I hope you get some relief soon. Ozembric or something like that. I'm finding that pancreatic problems are not fun. Take care.

I wasn’t sure who you were addressing the question to about diabetes, but I’m type I, so insulin is required to survive. I use an insulin pump (Medtronic 780g, which I highly recommend. ) Some people with Type II also use pumps, but most take medications like pills of injectables like Ozempic. The injectables, like Ozempic are not approved for Type I diabetes, but I’ve read some take it off label. It has certain risks though. My endocrinologist prescribed me Wegovy, before I started my weight loss journey, but I never got it filled, because my insurance didn’t cover it. Just as well, since I couldn’t handle any additional slow down of my digestion. And, I’ve lost 80 pounds on my own anyway.

One of my friends, who has type II, takes Ozempic. She’s doing great with her diabetes management, but has to take gummy fiber supplements daily. That seems to work for her.
