Artemis1886.
After an EMG I was told I have Axonal sensory Polyneuropathy. Is that what you have (it sounds almost the same) ? If it is, I have learned more from you than 2 neurologists, who told me nothing. I have no idea what to expect, how to deal with it, nothing other than in 2/3 months with PT I should be able to walk with a walker. Well, 3months later and I am bedridden with numbers legs, feet and hands which gets worse by day. This really sucks.

Yes but mine is sensorimotor
Yes, it does. If you cook Iam constantly cutting my hands and I look down and there is blood everywhere then I have to get stitches. They aka doctors never tell you the truth of what to expect until something new happens. The pain in your legs gets frustrating.
They did not tell me the truth about my tremors that’s the motor neuropathy. They called it essential tremors. I had to go to Boston to get the correct diagnosis. I am so frustrated the only hope is IVIG therapy it stops it but you have to take it the rest of your life. It also reverses some of it. Dr Oaklander has been researching this since before 2015.
Marijuana has properties that can cause nerve regeneration. I went through RN school constantly reading medical journals for continuing education credits.
Mine started in 2002 bur was ignored. I had bacterial spinal meningitis and I was 34. My whole world changed due to nerve damage.
