So far no doctor can figure this out, I’ve tried many things including a steroid spray which does eventually clear it up at a high cost but then it returns.

I didn't even try the spray because they told me it wouldn't let the bag stick if used. Do you use a deep convex bag? Thanks for the reply!

Apply a non-sting skin prep to your skin every time you apply a new appliance.

Monkeywings, the picture above looks like either a reaction to the tape border on the appliance, or moisture induced dermatitis. Sometimes I get that if I wear the appliance too long (14days). When I get that I clean a dry the area then apply a light dusting of Desenex, then dab a skin prep wipe over that, air dry and put the appliance on.

If it’s sore because of a reaction to the tape border on the appliance, you’ll need to find an appliance that won’t irritate your skin.
