Yes, Ellie, 10% of people or family will help you. I love it when a friend came and I had a sink full of dishes. I just had surgery and could not get out of bed. She asked if she should do my dishes. WTH? Should I have said, "Don't bother; you are the healthy one!"

What a great friend!! I love that you have people like that in your life. It’s so important to let people help you if they want to. Especially if they ask to help. My grandparents always told me, “Don’t ever tell someone no when they are trying to do something kind for you. God blesses those who help others and you are blocking their blessings when you deny them to bless you.
Hope those words help you like they have helped me in the past and even now. I always have to remind myself of those words of wisdom.
