Hi Art @artatthegreatpnw, Welcome to Connect. Thanks for sharing what helps you. While I don't have diabetes, it runs in my family and I've always been in the pre-diabetes category. I learned the hard way how important it is to take care of your feet. Have you had your doctor look at the spot on your heel that is painful and delicate?

I agree with catbeth57 just purchased skecher slip ins ultra flex 3.0 smooth step really comfortable best trainers . I've wasted money on many trainers least I know these work for me
