@amillisp yes absolutely, in my experience it is much better to see an endocrinologist who specializes in osteoporosis before you do anything. You have time. It may be possible to do Tymlos or Forteo sooner and those would be better to do before Fosamax anyway, if your insurance can authorize it. An endocrinologist could work on authorizing it with insurance. There are also patient assistance programs with the companies (Radius for Tymlos, Lily for Forteo).
