I have been to eight different ENTs. They have no idea what’s going on. All eight had different
(Or no) diagnosis. My ear issues started after Covid. I lost some hearing in both ears. The first ENT blamed age, and put me in hearing aids. That helped for awhile, but over time I have developed tinnitus and hyperacusis. I also feel fullness and pressure in my ears and head.
Finally an ENT suggested balloon inflation of my Eustachian tubes. I had high hopes for that procedure, but if anything it has made the situation worse.
I’m now looking into Lenire for tinnitus, but when I asked my Audiologist he knew nothing about it! Disappointing when the so-called experts don’t stay up to date in their own field!
It all falls on the patient to try to find help when you are feeling so terrible already. It isn’t right, but that is our situation.
If anyone out there has tried Lenire, please let us know what you think of it.
