i have severe neuropathy in my legs and feet that keeps getting worse. It started when i was hospitalized for congestive heart failure. i tried compression socks for both legs and feet but they make it worse. i also tried internet suggestions (pills) that don't work - i don't have swelling, just horrible pain and burning and tingling that prevents me from sleeping. elevating legs does not help. my heart doc suggested gabapentin but then said no because i take Vimpat. i am at my wits end and empathize with all of you who are suffering. any suggestions that helped others would be greatly appreciated

Can you see if they can modify your seizure meds to accommodate the neuropathy med. Gabapentin is actually for seizures, right?

I’ll just add that my burning stopped and the numbness has almost left again. I’m perplexed about what it is, but I guess my neurologist’s diagnosis that it wasn’t neuropathy was correct.

Hope you can find some treatment to help you.
