Lymphadenectomy Side Effects
I had a lymphadenectomy of my nodes under my left arm over 20 yrs. ago. My Dr. told me that I might have swelling in my left arm & neck area. About 5 yrs. ago my left leg & foot became swollen & Drs. thought I had May-Thurner Syndrome, however I did not. Could my
lymphadenectomy of 20 yrs. ago be causing my left leg & foot to stay swollen?

Thank you for the info.. Drs. have not made any suggestions for the swelling. I have tried wearing compression socks, but because of my arthritis, I am unable to put the socks on.
I had trouble putting on the compression socks myself until I found some with zippers on the side. They are really easy on and off compared to the standard medical grade compression socks. There are several types advertised but I get mine off of Amazon for a reasonable price.

Thank you.
They did a doppler to determine that it wasn't May Thurner Syndrone. Doppler showed
good blood flow to my legs.
