WOW!! I thought I had heard all the words /issues about the GI tract. You taught me something new. I am so sorry for you to have this problem, but it is one problem I don't have...yet. What causes this? Is it similar to a tortuous colon? Also called redundant splenic or hepatic flexure. It's an extra long large colon on either side of the transverse colon.
Yours sounds very painful before and after surgery. I hope you have some great helpers in your life.

I had surgery for a hiatal hernia. The surgeon wrapped the top of my stomach around the esophagus, thus the twisted esophagus. About 2 weeks later, my stomach stopped working (gastroparesis) and I had to go on a liquid diet till it revived. Lost a good bit of weight!
