Made it thru radiation Piece of cake a few radiation burns but thats it. Have done my 1st chemical treatment 7 more to go This step is not nice And o by the way your hair will fall out Thanks to the nurse I was told this not by my localBully cancer doctor WHo bitched at me because he had to spend 20 minutes of his time working my case gee sorry buddy I keep telling them it will not grow back Staff looks at me with a raised eyebrow. Who knows their body better than the occupant So then you get stared at finges pointed But I guess you are alive but your body is shot Finally yes we killed the cancer or no not until Oct Just sorta living day by day Not like it is was And husband is still thinking mother nature will take care of this Maybe he has her phone number I sure do not No help what so ever He is still out in la la land doing his thing

Chemo is not fun and as you say "living day by day" is the way it is until you complete it. You just keep going day by day as best you can manage. Be patient with yourself - this is normal.

Unfortunately, when you're done with chemo, it's not done with you... it can take 18 months for the side effects to subside (sorry), but the good news is that once the infusions are completed, you do get gradually better a bit every day.

Hang in there. You can do this and you've got people on your side!
