I've worn a breast prosthesis for almost 25 years and recently (now living in AZ) found mine to be very warm. I found a website that makes very comfortable and inexpensive prosthesis. A friend who belongs to the group knitted me two and I love them. They fit well, are washable and can be worn in a swimming pool. Here's the website: http://www.knittedknockers.org/

I have a question regarding the item Knitted Knockers. I was told the<br>prostheses must have some weight to it in order to hold it down and in<br>place in the mastectomy bra. I am most anxious to try the knitted items,<br>but wonder how they stay "down", where your breast line is? Thanks,.<br>Cherril<br><br>
