I recently developed burning and painful urination. Urine culture came back negative for bacteria. I did not understand. I have tried 3 antibiotics and nothing is helping with what I thought was a UTI. After some investigating online, I made the connection about recently starting a Spiriva Inhaler and my current urinary tract symptoms. I then found Mayo Connect and was so relieved to find that I am not the only one that has experienced urinary tract issues with inhalers. I will be stopping the Spiriva and will pray that this awful burning in my urinary tract will go away.
