I am so impressed that you are working full-time as an RN and you are in your 70’s! Amazing!

I am 59 and pace myself, so that I can continue working full-time until I turn 65. I beat AML 7 years ago, but live with some of the side effects of my stem cell transplant. I am blessed to be able to work in higher ed, where work challenges are more mental than physical. So far, my mind is keeping up with what I need to do for my students.

So happy for you to be able to continue with your calling. So happy you were able to get on top of the AML. I transfuse a guy weekly with myelofibrosis CA of the bone marrow, he is the toughest fighter I know and I pray for him daily. I think I keep
Loving being an RN because it has never felt like a job , just a priviledge my entire life.
